To Live and Dream in YORK, PA

YORK FREE CINEMA GROUP is created to promote movie making in York, Pa through the encouragement and facilitation of professions and armature creators in the area along with assistance and cooperation of individuals, governments, public and private corporate partners. The aspiration is to coalesce these talents and dreams to support ideas and concepts. It will support individuals, as well as teams and groups to create long and short films along with all the supporting infrastructure. Such as writing, screenplays, music, music scores, production, filming, direction, acting, etc.

An abundance of Raw Talent

York PA has a lot of dreamers. Artists, Authors, Singers, Dancers, Pianist, Guitarist, Models, Actors, Rock Musicians, Jazz Musicians, Rappers, Theater Organizations, and Yes, Movie Makers. The famous band LIVE is from here. This is the hometown of Legendary Tim Warfield. Not to mention Ralph Washington, Don Carn, and the list goes on.

A Catalyst for the Nexus of Art and Entrepreneurship

They all have a couple of things in common. One; they are authentically passionate and consumed by their craft. Two. they “Live and Dream in York PA”! And, some of them have chosen York - PA over New York - New York, Baltimore - Maryland, or Philadelphia - PA. The York Free Cinema Group will work with these individuals in movie making and its related industries to nourish and grow the Art and Entrepreneurship nexus in York, PA.
